Teachers Day: Importance And Significance-Moma Baby Etc

Teachers play a crucial part not only in the growth of the person but of society as a whole. It is the teachers ‘ knowledge and values that ultimately shape the personality of an individual. Teachers shape the minds of kids, which in turn enables them to become responsible citizens.
The future of the country lies in the hands of the kids and indirectly in the hands of the educators. In our life, they play a significant role in making life and career success. They assist us in the country’s culture to become a good human being and a good citizen. Teachers provide students ‘ brain data and information for analysis. Therefore, we can claim that we only learn from our teachers to analyze and face the scenario, to find out the answer in the challenging situation.
In India, every year on 5 September Teacher Day is celebrated as a tribute to the role played by teachers in society. The 5th of September marks the birth of the excellent mentor Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. He was a good advocate of edification and a distinguished envoy, academician, and President of India, above all a wonderful teacher.
History Of Teacher’s Day
Dr. Radhakrishnan was a well-known academic. Born in the Telugu family, he graduated with a master’s degree in philosophy. He wrote–’ Rabindranath Tagore’s Philosophy,’ which was his first book in 1917, putting Indian philosophy on the world map. Also, he later taught at Chennai’s Presidency College and Calcutta University. He was also Vice-Chancellor of Andhra Pradesh University from 1931 to 1936. Dr. Radhakrishnan was invited to teach Eastern Religions and Ethics at Oxford in 1936. For 16 years, he held that position.
Dr. Radhakrishnan is thought to have said that his birthday as a Teachers ‘ Day is his “proud privilege.” So, since 1962, the year he began serving as India’s second president, the nation celebrated his birthday as Teachers ‘ Day in commemoration of his job.
Who are Teachers?
Teachers nourish and prepare students for life as they are the true icon of understanding, wisdom, awareness-building, and literate individuals. In our life, they are the lightning source. Our educators are behind our achievement. They help us enhance our knowledge, skill level, trust as well as shaping us to choose the correct path and succeed. They do a lot for us, but nobody thanks them for their priceless work after doing so much. It is, therefore, our responsibility as a student to thank them at least once a year.
Importance and Significance
To celebrate his birthday, students across the country are honoring their teachers on the occasion of Teachers ‘ Day and thank them for their constant attempts to educate them. In order to celebrate their existence, schools and universities often host special programs.
The burden of passing knowledge to the future generation lies on the teachers. In their classrooms, they shape the world year after year. Celebrate their contribution to society and honoring their efforts this day.
As it’s rightly said:
गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः । गुरुःसाक्षात् परब्रह्म तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नम:
GURURBRAHMA GURURVISHNUH GURURDEVO MAHESHWARAH | GURUHSAKSHAT PARABRAHMA
TASMAI SHRIGURAVE NAMAH ||
MEANING:
REALIZE THAT BRAHMA HIMSELF IS THE GURU. HE IS VISHNU AND SHIVA (MAHESHWAR) IS ALSO HIMSELF. GURU IS PARABRAHMA (ABSOLUTE TRUTH OR SUPREME GOD). I (SALUTE) GIVE MY OBEDIENCE TO THE GURU WITH THIS KNOWLEDGE.
Except for the funny facet of the teachers day, it’s also a day for someone to look back and be deeply respected and enthusiastic about Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, a small-town boy who was brought up in the story of Indian democracy and a highly esteemed politician.
How Teachers Day Is Celebrated:
Students throughout the country honor teachers and gurus in their life on Teacher’s Day. Special programs are often held in schools and colleges that honor teachers and the important work they do daily-and often, thanklessly. Tributes to teachers are flooding social media platforms. Many others also give greeting cards and handmade gifts to their teachers.
On teachers day, students in India dress as educators and lecture in classes allocated to teachers they represent. Teachers sometimes sit in their classes as students and try to relive their own time as students.
As Teacher’s Day is a good opportunity to celebrate and enjoy the teacher-student connection. So, attempt meeting the day with your educators and convey your good wishes. If they’re far away then send an email or message to them and make their day memorable.
HAPPY TEACHERS DAY
Teaching is rightly said not to be a service, profession, or job. It is a social pillar.
