Home Remedies For Oily Hair
1. Tea Tree Oil:
Applying antimicrobial tea tree oil to your scalp can regulate sebum production and also stop acne in your scalp.
Add 15 drops of tea tree oil to any carrier oil of 30 mL and blend well. Apply this mixture to your scalp and spread it evenly throughout your hair. Leave on for at least an hour before washing off. If you are not sensitive to it, you can also apply tea tree oil directly to your scalp.
2.Coconut Oil:
Before shampooing, applying coconut oil is an excellent way to condition your hair without making it sticky. Virgin coconut oil is light compared to many other oils and provides the necessary shine to your hair while avoiding the development of excess sebum.
Take some virgin coconut oil and rub it between your palms. Apply the oil uniformly to your hair and scalp. Leave on for an hour before washing it off with a gentle shampoo.
3. Aloe Vera:
Aloe vera has important astringent and nourishing characteristics owing to its nutrient-rich structure. It can assist to regulate sebum secretion and make your hair soft.
Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of aloe vera gel to a lemon juice tablespoon. Add this combination with a cup of water and mix well. Use this to rinse your hair after shampooing, preferably. Leave on for a few minutes and wash it with cold water.
4.Baking Soda:
Baking soda performs excellent as both a dry shampoo and an oily hair rinse. Its alkaline structure enables balance your scalp’s pH and absorbs excess oil.
Sprinkle all your scalp and hair with baking soda. To spread it out, brush your hair. Alternatively, you can mix with three to four tablespoons of water a tablespoon of baking soda and apply it to wet hair. After a few minutes, you can rinse it off.
5. Green Tea:
Loaded with polyphenols, green tea. This makes it highly useful for your scalp’s health. It also plays in sebum secretion control.
In a cup of water, add half a cup of green tea and bring to a boil in a saucepan. Simmer and strain for 5 minutes. Apply it to your scalp and hair after the green tea mixture cools a little. Let it sit and rinse off for 30-45 minutes.
6. Argan Oil:
Massaging argan oil in your scalp and skin can redistribute oil to your fingers, controlling sebum secretion and enhancing flow in the blood.
Take some pure argan oil and apply it uniformly to strands of your scalp and hair. Use a towel to wrap your head. Let the oil operate around 30 to 60 minutes on your scalp. Shampoo using a mild cleanser and lukewarm water.
